Spring 2009 Newsletter: Featured Product: Rolled Rim Vase

Originally used for citrus trees in Renaissance gardens, the Rolled Rim planters have continued to be popular without interruption in Italy and around the world. Their shape is perfect for planting, with ample room for roots. The design is simple yet elegant and works with both traditional and modern architecture.
Seibert & Rice offers two types of Rolled Rim Planters. Our Artisan Rolled Rims are made completely freehand, slowly built up through the traditional “coil” method.
Our Molded Rolled Rims are also handmade, of course, but with the assistance of molds; we can therefore offer them at a slightly lower price point. Both are classic, beautiful and durable.
